We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.

For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.

We aim to maintain good communication with parents through the following avenues:

  • The weekly Journal Article
  • Through COMPASS alerts sent via email and SMS
  • By keeping information on our website current

Parents are invited to be active participants in the following bodies:

  • The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and Parent Grade Contacts.(PGC) This is our formal social and fund-raising committee
  • The Parent Advisory Council. The PAC work alongside the principal and assistant principal on matters related to school procedure and policy

Parents are invited to participate in:

  • School Masses
  • Sacramental programs and workshops for Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation
  • School assemblies
  • Excursions
  • Special school celebrations
