We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
We aim to maintain good communication with parents through the following avenues:
- The fortnightly newsletter
- Through COMPASS alerts sent via email and SMS
- By keeping information on our website current
Parents are invited to be active participants in the following bodies:

- The Parent Advisory Council (PAC). The PAC work alongside the principal and assistant principal on matters related to school procedure and policy
- The Fathering Project (TFP) – A group of men who value the contribution of positive male role models to a child’s development
Parents are invited to participate in:
- School Masses
- Sacramental programs and workshops for Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation
- School assemblies
- Excursions
- Special school celebrations
- Activities organised by the P&F and The Fathering Project
